Am I the A-hole for needing my friends to sometimes help me with problems?

My roommates and I have been living together for about a year. We've made a pretty good agreement where we each take turns doing the dishes, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend just didn't care to do their share. I got really annoyed because they just acted like it wasn't a big deal. I told them that it was rude, and they said they were sorry. Now, they're saying I'm being a jerk. Am I really the asshole here?
